Shane Lester and Bruce Ikeda had a long interview with HITSPAPER, creative portal web magazine. We talked about a bit of future possibility for the Lab too. (sorry it’s only in Japanese).

  • The newest album from Hifana, Japanese breakbeats duo who has impressed club and hip-hop audiences worldwide with their revolutionary live performance methods, entitled 24H, was released on 7.28.2010. With the concept of “one day, 24 hours,” starting in the waking hours, and going through the day and back to sleep, the album features 12 music+video tracks seamlessly connected into one master work of audio-visual animation and film, over 43 minutes long.

  • W+K Tokyo Labの携帯サイトW+K Lab Mobileが、NTT Docomo、AU、SoftBankの公式サイトとしてオープン。Tokyo Labが立ち上げ以来、手掛けてきたアートワークをもとにしたハイクォリティな｢きせかえ｣や｢待ち受けフラッシュ｣、レーベルの代表アーティスト、Hifanaによる｢オリジナル着メロ｣などをフィーチャー。今後、様々なモバイル・コンテンツを随時アップ予定。ご期待ください。

  • W+K Tokyo Lab has just launched an official mobile site on NTT Docomo, AU and SoftBank. W+K Lab Mobile features content based on the LAB’s work since its launch, including high quality “Kisekae” (Downloadable skin with multi layers and icons for mobile phones), “Machiuke Flash” downloadable screen savers) and original ring tones by LAB artist Hifana. The site will be updated regularly with various types of mobile contents. Stay tuned.
