Harajuku Performance + has been known for its great and unique artist lineups of hybrid mix, exceeding the border and genres of dance, music, art, theatrical performance, etc…..

In this fourth show, embracing the concept of innovation, the following 10 artists present their fresh and inspiring performances over the 2 days.

ダンス、音楽、演劇、映像、アートなど、既存のジャンルや概念にとらわれない斬新なキュレーションで、クリエイティブ・シーンの最前線を紹介してきた
「HARAJUKU PERFORMANCE＋」。 4回目となる今回は、「イノベーティブ」をテーマに、 革新的な表現を創出する以下10組のアーティストを2日間に渡り紹介。

“メディア・アートのアカデミー賞”とも言われる「アルスエレクトロニカ 2010」デジタル・ミュージック部門において最優秀賞を受賞した映像/音響アー ティストの黒川良一、NIKEの「NIKE MUSIC SHOE」においてランニングシューズ「NIKE FREE RUN+」を楽器に改造し、斬新でユニークなパフォーマンスを披露したHIFANAと DAITO MANABE（Rhizomatiks）、2ヶ月間に渡る海外ライブで大きな反響を得た 和田永によるOpen Reel Ensemble & Braun Tube Project、ロンドンを拠点にポップとオルタナティブの接点で音楽活動を行うカルト的な存在スティーブ・ジャンセンと映像家・写真家の伊瀬聖子、音楽/科学を横断する共同作業を継続的に展開する音楽家、渋谷慶一郎と東京大学教授の池上高志によるユニットなど、世代や枠組みを超越した多彩なアーティスト がラインナップされている。

  • 独創的なライブパフォーマンスと、トラックメイキングのセンスで世界中のクラブミュージックファンを熱狂させてきたHIFANA (ハイファナ)によるオリジナル・フルアルバム「24H」が、2010年7月28日リリース。「１日：24時間」というコンセプトのもと、朝起きてから寝るまでに起きる様々なことをテーマに制作された12曲の音楽、12本の映像作品をCD+DVDに収録。

  • The newest album from Hifana, Japanese breakbeats duo who has impressed club and hip-hop audiences worldwide with their revolutionary live performance methods, entitled 24H, was released on 7.28.2010. With the concept of “one day, 24 hours,” starting in the waking hours, and going through the day and back to sleep, the album features 12 music+video tracks seamlessly connected into one master work of audio-visual animation and film, over 43 minutes long.

  • W+K Tokyo Lab has just launched an official mobile site on NTT Docomo, AU and SoftBank. W+K Lab Mobile features content based on the LAB’s work since its launch, including high quality “Kisekae” (Downloadable skin with multi layers and icons for mobile phones), “Machiuke Flash” downloadable screen savers) and original ring tones by LAB artist Hifana. The site will be updated regularly with various types of mobile contents. Stay tuned.
