New Kisekae, “manga camo” created by fantasista utamaro, who is a key member of manga artist collective “mashcomix”, has just released from W+K Lab Mobile. Enjoy your Kisekae with fantasista utamaro’s style! You will love your phone even more, with these awesome designs. Powerful, colorful, and fun is what our favourite/super talented animator UTAMARO really believes in. Inspired by Comics books, this abstract illustrations, (colorful bubbles, sounds,) are used according to different sections of the phone. During certain functions, such as sending mail, or receiving an incoming call, the keitai screen will light up with one of many colourful animations that will help indicate activity, or the completion of an action. The newest album from Hifana, Japanese breakbeats duo who has impressed club and hip-hop audiences worldwide with their revolutionary live performance methods, entitled 24H, was released on 7.28.2010. With the concept of “one day, 24 hours,” starting in the waking hours, and going through the day and back to sleep, the album features 12 music+video tracks seamlessly connected into one master work of audio-visual animation and film, over 43 minutes long.

W+K Tokyo Lab has just launched an official mobile site on NTT Docomo, AU and SoftBank. W+K Lab Mobile features content based on the LAB’s work since its launch, including high quality “Kisekae” (Downloadable skin with multi layers and icons for mobile phones), “Machiuke Flash” downloadable screen savers) and original ring tones by LAB artist Hifana. The site will be updated regularly with various types of mobile contents. Stay tuned.
