W+K Lab Mobileから新しいコンテンツの配信開始。幅広いモチーフを直線や面で再構成し、独自のイメージを構築する渋谷忠臣によるキセカエ「GORILLA」と、なつかしのHIFANAキャラ満載のラテンテイストなキセカエ「TACOTRUCK」の強力な2本。携帯からのダウンロードは、http://wklab-mobile.jp/へ。
Two new “Kisekae”, downloadable skin for mobile phones, have just released from W+K Lab Mobile. “GORILLA”, created by Shibuya Tadaomi, who is pulling attention for the original style of illustrations based on sharp line and cubic surface, and “TACOTRUCK” by HIFANA, colorful and Latin flavored Kisekae based on their old school characters. The newest album from Hifana, Japanese breakbeats duo who has impressed club and hip-hop audiences worldwide with their revolutionary live performance methods, entitled 24H, was released on 7.28.2010. With the concept of “one day, 24 hours,” starting in the waking hours, and going through the day and back to sleep, the album features 12 music+video tracks seamlessly connected into one master work of audio-visual animation and film, over 43 minutes long.

W+K Tokyo Lab has just launched an official mobile site on NTT Docomo, AU and SoftBank. W+K Lab Mobile features content based on the LAB’s work since its launch, including high quality “Kisekae” (Downloadable skin with multi layers and icons for mobile phones), “Machiuke Flash” downloadable screen savers) and original ring tones by LAB artist Hifana. The site will be updated regularly with various types of mobile contents. Stay tuned.
