HIFANA will perform at the first ever all-night event to be held at the famous sumo stadium, the Ryogoku Kokugikan (in Tokyo’s Sumida district).

Japan’s first ever club event at the Ryogoku Kokujikan will be held under the concept of “The Extraordinary in the Ordinary” and “Wa” (Japanese style). DJing by FRANCOIS K, who has been the front runner of world’s dance music scene for 20 years, Takkyu Ishino who is active worldwide as a member of Denki Groove, and Shinichi Osawa, the renowned DJ/music producer who boasts Japan’s largest spectators to his event. Live performances will be held by Hifana, Boom Boom Satellites, and Gildas & Masaya (Kitsune).

The area usually used as the sumo dirt ring will become the dance floor, and the wooden yagura tower will be used as it stands. A large scale VJ stage will be setup using 750 LED paper lanterns (stage directing and lighting by AIBA). Chanko stews will be sold and festival stalls will be set up around the dance floor.
